I was born and raised in Billings, MT, where I gained a passion for fishing and the outdoors. If I'm not in the office, I'm probably on a river with a fly rod and my son, Owen.
I graduated from U of M with a B.A. in Political Science in 2007 and earned my MPA in 2012 while working at UM in the Enrollment Services - Admissions Office. In May of 2015 I completed my Certificate in Youth Ministry with the University of Dayton.
In 2008, I married the love of my life, Rachel, who served as a CCM Peer Minister with me in 2004-05. In 2014, after a brief but enjoyable 2-year hiatus to the beautiful city of Boise, ID, our family returned “home” to Montana and Christ the King Parish.
Hello! My name is Riley Helgoe. I am from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and have been in Missoula for the last three years. I am currently working on my Associates in Business management and plan on transferring after this year to study Theology.
I moved to Montana mainly to snowboard, which is one of my favorite things to do. I also love to read, golf, play Frisbee, basketball, ping pong, and shoot pool. Two Easters ago, after being confirmed into the Catholic Church, I became interested in learning more and taking my faith seriously. Last year was my first year participating in CCM, and I really enjoyed the fellowship and activities we did.
As a peer minister, I am very excited about working with new UM students and old, learning more about our faith together, and having fun! It is going to be a great year!
