My name is Alan Marr. I was born and raised in Northern Virginia, but I’ve been living in Missoula since 2012. In 2010, I graduated with a B.A. in Studio Art from Christopher Newport University, but I am back in school now working on a second degree in Biology because I love learning!
I am currently aspiring to become a high school teacher, but only time will tell what I actually end up doing! I love life, animals, art, and anything outdoors including (but not limited to) floating, camping, rock climbing, mountain biking, and scuba diving. I am SUPER excited to be a peer minister this year because I’ve always wanted to be involved with CCM, but my school studies and previous jobs have prevented me from doing so. I value this fellowship and I look forward to helping build a bigger and better CCM community!
Jantette Chacon - Peer Minister - email@example.com
Hello! My name is Janette Chacon, and I’m from Post Falls, ID. I’m a junior at the University and a double major in Psychology and Sociology with an emphasis in Criminology. I want to work with at-risk youths for my career, but lately I have been thinking about joining the Peace Corps after graduation.
I am a big reader, and I love playing ultimate frisbee and volleyball. I also enjoy having a night in and watching movies with friends. I’m so excited to be a Peer Minister this year and getting to meet everyone!
This past year was my first year being involved with CCM, and I enjoyed every minute of it! I met some incredible people and learned valuable life lessons. I’m looking forward to welcoming fellow peers into the wonderful family that is CCM!
Maureen Galen - Peer Minister - firstname.lastname@example.org
My name is Maureen Galen. I am originally from Tucson, Arizona, but I spent most of my summers growing up near Missoula. I was fortunate enough to move to Montana for high school and stay for college. I am currently a Junior majoring in Marketing with a minor in Communication at the University of Montana. I love ice cream, wake boarding, and most other water activities such as swimming.
Catholic Campus Ministry has been a large part of my life this past year I cannot wait to become more involved. I also hope to get more students involved and excited to be a part of the CCM community.
